  • October 11: initial revision of mod_voicemail committed to SVN trunk.
  • October 1: initial revision of mod_fifo committed to SVN trunk.
  • August 29: mod_java committed
  • August 23: OpenMRCP has been officially released, along with a preliminary FreeSWITCH module mod_openmrcp
  • June 16: Major improvements to mod_python, no longer segfaults w/ concurrent calls. API change, update your scripts/config.
  • June 13: Added faxlib.jm documentation - an object based api for faxing from JavaScript (mod_spidermonkey)
  • June 5: Added fax2email.js which uses the patch I wrote to detect faxes
  • Mar 28: FreeSWITCH now supports a core scheduler API
  • Mar 23: The JavaScript session constructor has been significantly changed.
  • Mar 23: A new hangup callback is now supported in JavaScript.
  • Mar 20: The build process has been completly re-done. Please see the Installation Guide for more information on the new build process.
  • Feb 15: IVR Menu has been enhanced to support IVR prompting using the Phrase Macros.
  • Feb 12: Please list all the devices you have tested with FreeSWITCH on our Interop List.
  • Feb 6 : IANA has assigned a Private Enterprise Number (PEN) to FreeSWITCH (#27880)
  • Jan 8 : Added Integrated Multi-lingual Speech Phrase Management capability - Cool!
  • Jan 8 : Added confcall.js - Simple JavaScript Multi Conference application using ODBC to validate PINs.
  • Dec 29: Added recordgreeting.js to the list of JavaScript examples.
  • Dec 28: Added answermachine.js to the list of JavaScript examples.
  • Dec 27: New fileDelete API added.
  • Dec 22: Added length limit and silence detection to record API. Example at Javascript Session RecordFile.
