  • Info: We've just started re-writing the ENTIRE WIKI FROM SCRATCH
  • We need to come up with a wiki page for two important topics:
    • Why you shouldn't freak out when FS uses 2% CPU when idle
    • Why various distros work/don't work or suck/don't suck for FS and why
  • Tod H talking about Mod_fifo

News, Notes, & Miscellaneous Fun Stuff

  • New FS Stuff
    • Update on 1.0.5
    • Polycom iLBC and FS now Work
    • Infinite loop fixed when using group/ with enterprise originate (maybe user/ also)
    • New Say struct params that contain the type, method and the new Gender type, sample usage in mod_say_fr
    • mod_silk FTW baby!
  • Mathieu Rene will be discussing mod_sofia guts
    • It'll be a bit techy, so get your notepads out! :D

Janitorial Items

  • Easy one for those just getting their feet wet:
    • Need to alphabetize the items here: Lua#API
      • Especially the session methods
  • MC still working out multi-lingual wiki issues
    • If you have translation skills please let me know which lang(s)

Items Needing Discussion

  • Talk about Moc patchs
    • FSCORE-568 - Improvement in the codec negotiation in mod_sofia
    • MODAPP-408 - Rewrite of voicemail phrases call to use the new phrase event call.
  • Talk about changing the standard lang folder structure for easier upgrade path and user custom phrase replacement
  • Can someone else discuss a FreeSWITCH module or application next week?
